THE RETURN OF THE "D-ROSE"

I am bringing back my signature sandwich creation for a special one day popup at JT’s Genuine to celebrate Derrick Rose’s return to the United Center as the Bulls are set to honor his career and retirement.

"The D-Rose" is a chopped cheese with the heart of New York and the soul of Chicago.

Originally inspired by Rose's tenure with the New York Knicks, my Chicago chopped cheese sandwich is made with ground chuck that's seasoned with JP Graziano giardiniera seasoning then griddled and chopped with onions, giardiniera, and American cheese. It's topped with a Harold’s Chicken mild sauce mayo, seasoned tomatoes, and shredded iceberg lettuce on a seeded hoagie roll. 

D Rose is one of my favorite athletes of all time. He was the rose that grew from the Chicago concrete to become the youngest MVP in league history and brought Chicago hope for the first time since MJ retired. This is my homage to the legend, and It's only fitting for us to bring back the sandwich on the night that he returns home.

More importantly, a portion of the proceeds of every sandwich sold will be donated to my Muscular Dystrophy Association fundraiser, helping support children and adults like myself living with Muscular Dystrophy, ALS, and other neuromuscular diseases.

Preorders will open at 11 am on Friday, January 3rd, with a limited amount available for walk-ins.
